Sidney Sherman is a recent graduate of the University of Miami where she completed her MFA in Photography with her thesis project, Out of The Shadows, consisting of self-portrait prints and interactive installation. She is currently expanding her introspective work and learning how it can translate across multimedia platforms.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UM, Sherman has taught Introduction to Digital Photography for two years and other photography and lighting courses

in the South Florida Community.

In May of 2018, Sherman graduated UM receiving her Bachelor of Science in Creative Advertising, focusing on image making and lighting techniques outside of the fine art genre.
